Join LA Waterkeeper staff as we explore a segment of the LA River in Maywood and SouthGate! Practice your community science skills as we explore the lower LA River.
Volunteers will learn about LA River's history and current challenges, and use field kits to determine the river's health and biodiversity! We'll meet at our first location - Hollydale Regional Park, and caravan to our second location, the Riverfront Park in Maywood.
