Join us at Patagonia Santa Monica on October 28 for Smart Water: The Hidden Cost of AI, a conversation exploring the intersection of AI, data centers, water, and environmental justice.
As demand for data centers grows, so do questions about their impacts: How are decisions about their development made? Who gets a say? How are impacts on local water supplies and the environment evaluated, and who ultimately bears the costs?
Through an expert panel and open discussion, we'll unpack these questions, explore the role of community voices in decision-making, and consider what responsible growth could look like.
Come learn, ask questions, share perspectives, and connect with others interested in the future of our water resources.
Drinks and refreshments will be provided!
