Amber Mitchell

Amber is the Development & Events Coordinator at LA Waterkeeper, where she supports fundraising, events, and donor engagement. With more than seven years of experience in event coordination, project management, and administrative operations, she brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to her work.

Amber began her career in event management in Las Vegas before moving into public service and nonprofit work. Her career has been shaped by a desire to do work that serves others and strengthens the communities around her. She is especially drawn to LA Waterkeeper’s work to ensure that Los Angeles’ waterways are healthy, accessible, and protected for all communities, regardless of background or income.

Outside of work, Amber can be found exploring the many restaurants, parks, and hidden gems Los Angeles has to offer.
