From industrial sites to commercial properties, polluted runoff can carry harmful contaminants into LA’s rivers, harbors, and ocean. Our work focuses on stronger stormwater rules, better compliance, and accountability for polluters.
PFAS & Other Emerging Contaminants
Some of the most concerning pollutants are the ones we are only beginning to understand. We monitor PFAS, microplastics, and other emerging contaminants while advancing the science and protections needed to address them early.
